David Baker Has It Right

Scooterkit! Is a project made of design and technology realized by Ben Wilson, who is a passionate conceiver of engineless means of transportation.
12 enthusiastic kids took part at the Design Camp 2009, a unique experience organized by David Baker, architect and teacher. The colorful push scooters praising the diy philosophy and envied by any minimal existing version of the object, will be on show next to their processes of realization at Aram Gallery in London. The gallery already hosted the solo exhibition by Ben Wilson.

  1. I love the idea of showing kids how to build functional things. I was just thinking that solar ovens would be a great thing to work on with older kids after seeing this post:
